She is also survived by her Aunt Shirley, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She adored her grandchildren: Bryan Mazaika and his fiance Brooke Suelter, Carleen Mazaika, Carter and Austin Reynolds and Bradley Wall. Her favorite vacation spot was Wolfeboro NH where she and her husband enjoyed beautiful Lake Wentworth.Ĭarolyn is survived by three daughters and their husbands: Sandra and Robert Mazaika of Hopkinton, MA, Susan and David Reynolds of Westboro, MA and Sharon and Gregory Wall of Rockland, MA. She volunteered at South Shore Hospital for over 20 years including many years working with Chaplain Services. A resident of Norwell for over 55 years, Carolyn loved her home and found joy in the change of seasons and the wildlife that frequented her yard. She spent her days connecting with family and friends, gardening, playing tennis and practicing her faith.

She is reunited with her high school sweetheart and husband of 60 years, Gerald L Hathorne, her parents T Arthur Caie and Ruth (Angevine) Caie, and her sister Priscilla (Caie) Eagle.Ĭarolyn was raised in Waltham, graduated in 1953 from Waltham High School, was a Girl Scout, Cheerleader, Rainbow Girl and attended Lasell Junior College. Carolyn Ruth (Caie) Hathorne passed away peacefully on July 20th at the Pat Roche Hospice Home in Hingham.
